Bright and colourful is not our thing
At an early stage, the founders of rgb gmbh succumbed to the fascination of light and technology. In 1999, Dirk Feuerstein and Lutz Kleine-Herzbruch made no bones about it and turned their passion into a business. A little later, the perfect accompaniment was found to these two creative spirits in the person of Mike Brockmann - as a specialist in technical project management. Their joint mission: to work with light not only in a functional way, but also artistically. To make the special aestheticism and emotionality of light able to be experienced and to ensure the uncompromising quality of all the technical features of an event. By 2009, rgb gmbh numbered 11 permanent team members and a pool of experienced freelancers.
Goethe would have liked to have been our neighbour
As an attractive location for all aspects of design and creativity, there could be no better home for rgb gmbh in the Ruhr area than the “Zeche Zollverein” in Essen: Industrial museum, a centre of culture and design and since 2001 a world cultural heritage site. A unique centre of the creative industry in Germany and a distinctive atmosphere, which inspires time and again to new “feats of light” and new technical concepts. After 2006, rgb gmbh extended its premises once again in 2009 in the former workshop hall.
